MOONG DAL BARFI | MOONG DAL KI BARFI  

Moong Dal Barfi recipe made with less Ghee. By the way, the traditional barfi makes ghee well, that’s why the people of today like it but if they do not eat due to excess ghee, then for those people, moong dal barfi made with less ghee. You can make this moong dal barfi very easily at home, and this dessert made of ghee is nutritious and delicious compared to the barfi available in the market.

Ingredients 

  • Moong dal – 200 gm
  • Mawa (khoya) – 250 -300 gm
  • Desi ghee – 50 gm
  • Sugar – 200 gm
  • Green cardamom – 5
  • Pistachios – 5

How to Make Moong Dal Barfi Recipe

  • To make moong dal, take 1 cup of moong dal and put it in a mixer jar and grind it lightly after grinding the moong dal, open the lid of the mixer after 2 minutes and put it in a pan and fry it till the golden color reached. After roasting for 2-3 minutes, take it out of the pan and place it in a plate to cool.
  • Once the dal cools down, put it in a mixer jar and grind it finely. Now put 2 tablespoons of ghee in a pan and keep it to heat, after the ghee has heated up, add lentil powder in it and roast for 3-4 minutes on medium flame until it becomes slightly thick, Leave it in the pot and keep it cool.
  • Now grind half the sugar and roasted flour out of 1 cup sugar in the mixer jar, in the same way, grind the remaining sugar too and mix it well. Now put 1 cup mawa in a pan and stir till the ghee separates. Fry on medium heat.
  • Once the ghee separates from the mawa, add a mixture of lentils and sugar and powdered cardamom seeds and cook while mixing. Now spread the ghee in a plate and spread it on the plate after the mixture is thickened. Spread it evenly. Now pour some pistachio pieces on top of it and press it lightly.
  • Once the mixture is set, cut it into any shape as per your requirement. your dessert is ready. Take the dessert pieces out of the tray and keep them in a plate. You can keep this barfi in the refrigerator and eat it for 10 to 12 days.
  • Enjoy your festival dessert.

Note 

  • Sometimes ghee is not separated from the mawa(khoya), then you can make it in this way by adding 1-2 spoons of extra ghee in the mawa.
  • You can also add cashew nuts or almonds instead of pistachios in Barfi.

Atta Ladoo has a sweet and aromatic taste. While making it, its fragrance spreads far and wide which is liked by all and enjoy it with great pleasure.

  • 300 grams of wheat flour
  • 300 grams
  • 200 grams Ghee
  • 8 cashew nuts
  • 4 small cardamom

How to make Atta Ladoo

  • To make atta ladoo, first, take the flour and filter it well with the help of a sieve.
  • Now take a pan and put ghee in it and keep it on the gas to heat it.
  • Add mixed flour to the ghee and stir continuously with the help of a spatula.
  • Fry the flour for a while until its color turns light brown. After roasting the flour, it will start to smell.
  • Then understand that your dough is well roasted.
  • Take the roasted flour and take it out on a plate so that your roasted dough cools quickly.
  • Now add flour to the flour and mix well. Also, add chopped pieces of cashew and cardamom and mix. atta ladoo mixture is ready.
  • After doing this, take a little mixture in your hand and with the help of palm make it into the shape of a round ladoo.
  • Keep in mind that atta ladoo will look attractive even if they are of good size.
  • Similarly, make ladoo from all the mixture. Within a short time, your delicious and wonderful flour ladoos are ready.
  • Keep them in the box and consume them as you wish.

Lauki Kofta Recipe is a recipe in which koftas are prepared by deep frying using ghee, gram flour, and some spices and then served in a spicy gravy of onion-tomato.

Ingredients 

  • Bottle Gourd – 300 gms ( 1 cup grated)
  • Chickpea flour – 1 cup ( 100 gms)
  • Tomatoes – 3 ( 250 gms)
  • Green chilli – 1
  • Green coriander 2 to 3 tbsp ( finely chopped )
  • Dry fenugreek leaves – 1 tsp
  • Green chilli – 1 (finely chopped)
  • Ginger – 1 tsp (paste)
  • Cumin seeds – 1/4 tsp
  • Asafoetida – 1/2 pinch
  • Turmeric powder – 1/2 tsp
  • Carom seeds – less than 1/4 tsp
  • Red chilli powder – 1/2 tsp
  • Coriander powder – 1.5 tsp
  • Garam masala – 1/4 tsp
  • Oil – for frying and gravy

How to Make Lauki Kofta Recipe

  • Take lauki and wash with running water and dry it. after drying peel bottle guard (lauki) skin by peeler. Now grate lauki and remove excess lauki juice from grated lauki.
  • Add chickpea flour, green chili, ginger paste, and turmeric with coriander and red chili powder and salt and mix well.
  • Add carom seeds, green coriander, again mix all ingredients well, once ready, make the dough and keep aside to puff up.
  • Heat oil in kadai for frying koftas, to check the oil is proper hot or not put a small dough of kofta in kadai once kofta dough starts frying it means oil is ready for frying. Add koftas in kadai and fry all.
  • Once brown color is reached, flip and fry well until golden brown from all sides. Once all sides fry takes out them from kadai and fries rest of koftas likewise.
  • For gravy, heat oil and add cumin seeds, reduce the gas flame, add asafoetida, ginger paste, coriander powder, turmeric powder and roast slightly all those ingredients.
  • Now add tomato green chilli paste. increase gas flame and add red chili powder, stir slowly and roast until oil separates from it.
  • Once oil separated add dry fenugreek leaves, chickpea flour, stir, and roast masala for 2-3 minutes.
  • When masala is roasted, add 2 cups water to it and mix well, now adds lat and gram masala, green coriander, and lauki juice (if required).
  • Cover the kadai and cook for 5 minutes. Add koftas in kadai and cook further 4-5 minutes
  • After cooking removes vegetables in a separate bowl.
  • Garnish with fresh coriander leaves.
  • Enjoy Lauki Kofta Recipe.

Note

  • You can serve lauki kofta with chapati, parantha, naan, rice for an awesome taste.
  • serve with Amul butter.

How to make Carrot Cake with Pineapple Cream Cheese Frosting

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Spray a 9×13-inch baking dish with cooking spray.
  • Sift flour, baking soda, cinnamon, and 1/2 teaspoon salt together in a bowl. Lightly beat eggs in a bowl; add white sugar, buttermilk, applesauce, oil, and 2 teaspoons vanilla extract and mix well. Stir buttermilk mixture, carrots, pecans, and drained pineapple into flour mixture just until mixed; pour into prepared dish.
  • Bake in the preheated oven until a toothpick inserted in the centre of the cake comes out clean, 45 to 50 minutes. Cool cake in baking dish on a wire rack, about 1 hour. Cover dish tightly with plastic wrap; refrigerate 8 hours to overnight.
  • Beat Neufchatel cheese and 1 tablespoon reserved pineapple juice together in a bowl with an electric mixer until smooth; add confectioners’ sugar, 1 teaspoon vanilla extract, and 1 pinches salt and beat until frosting is smooth. Spread frosting on the cake.

Eggless Mango Cake recipe that is egg-free, butter-free, and requires no condensed milk. It is layered with delicious mango pudding and whipped cream cheese frosting.

  • 1 ½ cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • 1 ½ teaspoon baking powder
  • ½ teaspoon baking soda
  • teaspoon vinegar or sour lemon juice
  • 1/3 cup oil
  • ½ cup granulated sugar*
  • 1 cup fresh mango pulp thick
  • ½ cup plus 4 tablespoon milk room temperature

How to make Eggless Mango Cake

  • Preheat the oven at 350 deg F/ 180 deg C
  • Brush two 6” cake pans or one 8” cake pan with oil on the bottom and the circumference too. Now dust it with some flour to coat the pan.
  • Cut and line the pans with parchment round at the bottom.
  • In a large bowl sift all dry ingredients.
  • In another bowl place all liquid ingredients and sugar.
  • Whip until the sugar granules are almost melted.
  • Now pour the liquid ingredients over the dry ingredients and whip until lump free.
  • Do not overmix.
  • Bake for 28-32 minutes or until the toothpick inserted in the centre comes out clean.
  • Once done take it out of the oven carefully.
  • Let the cake cool in the pans for 10 minutes.
  • Now run a butter knife around the circumference of the cake to release it.
  • Now invert the cakes on the cooling rack to cool completely.
  • Loosely cover the cakes with a muslin cloth or kitchen towel to prevent drying out.
  • While the cake is baking quickly blend or whisk the ingredients called for pudding together into a smooth paste. Add more sugar if the mixture isn’t sweet.
  • In a non-stick pan cook the mixture on low heat stirring occasionally.
  • Once the pudding mixture warms up stir continuously scrapping the sides and bottom to avoid sticking.
  • The pudding is done when the mixture starts to thicken up and coats the back of the spoon well.
  • Mango pudding should be done under 10 minutes start to finish.
  • It will thicken more after cooling down.

Note

  • Reduce sugar by ¼ cup if using canned mango puree.
  • Increase sugar by ¼ cup if mangoes aren’t sweet.
  • I have used French tip to pipe swirls on the cake.
  • Always refrigerated. Stays well up to 3 days.

Idli recipe of fresh green peas. If you are bored of eating old-style idli, then definitely try the green pea healthy & tasty idli. Peanut chutney with green pea idli looks delicious to eat. You make and eat it at your home. It is very easy to make and is ready in a very short time period.

Grandma’s Flavors Recipes

Ingredients 

  • Green peas – 200 gms
  • Semolina    – 200 gms
  • Curd – 200 gms
  • Ginger – 1 small piece
  • Green chilli – 2
  • Curry leaves – 10-15
  • Mustard seeds – 1 tsp
  • Urad Dal – 1 tsp
  • Oil – 1 tsp
  • Eno Fruit Salt – 1 tsp
  • Salt – 1 tsp

for Peanut Sauce

  • Peanuts – 100 gms
  • Green chilli – 1
  • Lemon – 1/2
  • Salt – 1/2 tsp

How to Make Idli Recipe

  • To make Green Pea Idli, grind it finely by adding 1 cup green peas, 2 green chillies, 1/2 inch ginger and a little water in a mixer jar. Now add 1 cup semolina, 1 cup curd and pea-green chillies in a pot Add the paste and mix. Now add 1 teaspoon of salt to this mixture and mix and keep it covered for 15 minutes.
  • After 15 minutes, remove the mixture and mix it. Heat 2 teaspoons of oil in a tempering pan. After the frying pan gets heated, add 1 tsp mustard seeds, 1 tsp urad dal and cook on low flame. Now cook 10 to 15 curry leaves in it. Turn off the heat and add this tempering to the pea batter.
  • Now take an idli stand and grease it by applying oil on it. Heat a little water in a big pot (take the pot big enough to fit the idli stand completely.) Now mix 1 teaspoon of Eno fruit salt and one teaspoon of water in the idli batter. Put a little bit of idli batter in the idli mould and keep it in the vessel for steaming and let it cook for 15 minutes.
  • After 15 minutes remove the idli and keep it cool. When the idli cools down, take it out with the help of a knife and keep it in a plate. Idli of peas is ready.

Peanut Sauce

  • Grind 1/2 cup roasted peanuts, 1 green chilli, 1/2 lemon juice, 1/2 tsp salt and a little water in a mixer jar. To add the tempering to chutney, heat 1 teaspoon oil in a tempering pan. When the oil is hot, add 1/4 teaspoon mustard seeds, 5-6 curry leaves and fry it. After roasting the curry leaves, turn off the heat and mix it in the tempering sauce. Peanut chutney is ready.

Kalakand is an Indian sweet made out of solidified, sweetened milk and paneer. Kalakand, a delicious milk-based sweet with hints of cardamon, is yet another way of enjoying the goodness of milk.

Keto Desserts Recipes

Ingredients

  • Paneer/Indian Cottage cheese: 500 gm.
  • Milk powder: 2 tbsp. (heaped)
  • Low-fat Condensed milk: 1 tin. (~15 oz./450 gm.)
  • Green Cardamom powder: 2-3 tsp.
  • Ghee/butter : 2 tbsp.
  • Food Color(Orange) : 1/2 tsp.(optional)

How to make Kalakand Recipe

  • Mash paneer coarsely. Add milk powder to it and mix well and again mash the mixture.
    for some time, until the texture is not only mushy but kind of grainy.
  • Heat a wide pan, add ghee to it, leave a little to grease a plate. When ghee is totally
    melted, add paneer mixture to the pan. Stir for a minute.
  • Then add 2/3 of condensed milk and mix with paneer well.
  • Don’t forget to stir the mixture all the time, otherwise, it’ll stick to the pan and burn and lower the heat to medium. Adding color to it, isn’t necessary, as Kalakand is normally white in color.
  • If you want to add the color, add it now and stir immediately to mix it evenly in the paneer mixture.

  • Then taste the sweet level, if you think it is well as per your taste, then add the rest of the condensed milk accordingly.
    Mix the milk well. Cook the mixture until it dries up Remove from heat and add cardamom powder and mix well.
  • Grease a plate with the rest of the ghee and pour the cooked paneer mixture on the plate
    and spread evenly.
  • Cool for 1/2 an hour and then cut into desired shapes, square, or diamond shape.

How to make Coconut Ladoo Recipe

  • I have added cardamom powder for some fragrances, although you can skip it if you want.
  • I have not added dry fruits, although you can add dry fruits as well. Coconut Ladoo Recipe Milkmaid!
  • The recipe can only be doubled, halved or tripled.
  • There is no one to add sugar because condensed milk provides sufficient sweetness. For a less candy style, you can withdraw the volume of condensed milk and add approximately er cup.

  • The coconut used is not grated or chopped dry coconut, although the powder type has one. Also known as coconut powder.
  • Ghee is non-essential for making cardamom powder. If you are not using ghee, then fry coconut in a pan on low heat for a minute.

  • Fresh Desi Gajar – 1 Kg
  • Deshi Cow Ghee – 100 gms
  • Milk – 1 litre
  • Almonds – 50 gms
  • Pista – 50 gms
  • Black Ilachi Seeds – 1 tsp
  • Khoya – 100 gms
  • Sugar – 150 gms

How to Make Gajar Halwa Recipe?

  • To begin to start making gajar ka halwa, first, take a carrot and remove the top and bottom side and grate medium size. once you grate complete Carrots you will get approx 750 gms carrots.
  • Take an iron kadai and heat it at medium heat, add almonds and pistas till golden brown.
  • Remove almonds and pistas from kadai and add gajar in kadai and cook for 3-4 minutes. don’t overcook otherwise flavor of gajar will disappear.
  • Add milk and mix it well, add kali ilachi seeds and mix it again.
